What is the Advanced & Customized Installation?

Everything about accessiBe comes ready to go so all you need to do is paste the code. That means that accessiBe’s default options have all been carefully chosen to best suit your needs and those of your site visitors.

However, you can also choose to customize accessiBe according to your brand and preferences. The Advanced & Customized Installation takes just a few minutes and once you’re done, we will generate a script that is perfectly tailored to you!

To access the Advanced & Customized Installation options go to your account and click on the ‘Installation’ page.

Under ‘Choose your preferred installation method’ click on ‘Advanced & Customized Installation’ and start choosing the custom options that you want!

You will find the Advanced & Customized Installation option in the right-hand corner of your account. Below are all the customization options to can choose from:

  • Accessibility statement link - When a user clicks on ‘Accessibility Statement’ in the interface, they will be transferred to your own statement. The default option is accessiBe’s statement.
  • Interface footer content - Present your brand/company in the accessibility interface footer.
  • Interface language - Choose from 14 different language options for your interface. The default option is English
  • Interface lead color - Change the color of the interface to match your style. The default option is accessiBe blue
  • Trigger button color - Change the color of the accessibility button that is used to open the interface. The default option is accessiBe blue
  • Interface position - Change the location of the interface. The default option is ‘Left’
  • Show on mobile? - You can choose whether to show the interface on mobile. The default option is ‘Show’
  • Trigger horizontal position - Choose the horizontal positioning of the accessibility button. The default option is ‘Left’
  • Trigger vertical position - Choose the vertical positioning of the accessibility button. The default option is ‘Bottom’
  • Mobile trigger horizontal position - Choose the horizontal positioning of the accessibility button on mobile. The default option is ‘Left’
  • Mobile trigger vertical position - Choose the vertical positioning of the accessibility button on mobile. The default option is ‘Center’
  • Trigger button size - Choose the size of the accessibility button. The default option is ‘Medium’
  • Mobile trigger size - Choose the size of the accessibility button on mobile. The default option is ‘Small’
  • Trigger button shape - Change the shape of the accessibility button. The default option is ‘Round’
  • Trigger mobile shape - Change the shape of the accessibility button. The default option is ‘Square’
  • Hide trigger button - You can choose to hide the accessibility button, though accessiBe will still be present on your site. The default option is ‘Show’
  • Trigger button icon - Choose from a variety of symbols to represent the accessibility button on your site. To see the default option, look at accessiBe’s website
  • Trigger horizontal offset - Make additional horizontal orientation adjustments for the accessibility button. The default option is ‘20’
  • Trigger vertical offset - Make additional vertical orientation adjustments for the accessibility button. The default option is ‘20’
  • Mobile trigger horizontal offset - Make additional horizontal orientation adjustments for the accessibility button on mobile. The default option is ‘0’
  • Mobile trigger vertical offset - Make additional vertical orientation adjustments for the accessibility button on mobile. The default option is ‘0.
